Neighborhood interface hazard
assessments include individual home assessments, to determine an averaged fire
danger rating, plus the utilities infrastructure is examined. This includes
the delivery of electricity, natural or propane gas and emergency
water capacity, both for hydrants and homes. Further issues include road
widths, cul de sacs, weight bearing capacities of bridges, escape route
alternatives and common property issues.
